I’ve heard people raving about bokashi for some time and after reading Intemperate Edibles post and seeing how cheap and easy it could be, I decided to give it a red-hot go.

At the last update on the new bird feeder, a pair of Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos had discovered it and I was thrilled that the bird feeder was encouraging the local wildlife. They found it! A sulphur-crested cockatoo discovered it this morning and brought his mate back with him. I’m now glad that I didn’t put a house on top – it wouldn’t have been big enough for these two! Hooray!
